As the Corbin Lady Redhounds prepare for this week’s upcoming 49th District Girls’ Soccer Tournament, the Lady Redhounds also had some accolades that occurred recently.
Senior Olivia Jones broke the single season assist record at Corbin by recording her 26th assist. It was previously held by Kaitlyn Waddle, who had tallied 24 assists in 2013. Jones’ 26 assists currently ranks second in the state.
Grace Gibson is currently 16th overall with 27 goals scored while the duo of Gibson (15th, 87 points), and Jones (19th, 82) currently rank in the Top 20 of the state in total points (goals, and assists combined) scored.
