The Bell County Lady Bobcats continued their impressive play by capturing the Bobcat Classic on Saturday.
Bell County posted a 3-1 record during tournament play and has now won 13 out of its last 14 matches.
The Lady Bobcats became the first team in the 13th Region to win 20 games this season on Saturday and now sees their record stand at 20-8. They are also 16-2 against regional opponents.
Bell County’s lone loss in the Classic was to McCreary Central (19-25, 25-17, 15-10) but the Lasy Bobcats got revenge by defeating the Lady Raiders (25-20, 25-15).
Bell County also recorded victories over Knox Central (25-17, 25-23), and Barbourville (25-7, 26-14).
The Lady Bobcats will be off until Tuesday, Oct. 11 when they host Knox Central.
