L4 SECURITY 13TH REGION MEDIA NETWORK GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL  WEEK SEVEN RANKINGS: Corbin remains No. 1 while Whitley County is No. 2 

1. Corbin (12-5 overall, 11–2 vs. 13th Region opponents)

It’s been one heck of a season for the Lady Redhounds. After starting 1-2, Corbin has put together an 11-3 mark.

2. Whitley County (15-10, 9-1)

The Lady Colonels had last week off and will be playing in this upcoming weekend’s Eastern Kentucky Tournament of Champions.

3. North Laurel (19-11, 9-3)

The Lady Jaguars recovered nicely from a two-game win streak, defeating both Red Bird and Leslie County this past week.

4. Bell County (20-8, 16-2)

The Lady Bobcats continue to have an awesome Season. Bell County just won the Bobcat Classic on Saturday. The Lady Bobcats have now won 13 out of their last 14 matches.

5. South Laurel (4-9, 3-5)

The Lady Cardinals snapped a six-game losing skid last week by surviving a five-set thriller against Williamsburg, snapping a six-game losing skid.

6. Harlan County (8-8, 8-5)

The Lady Black Bears are rolling. They’ve now won three in a row. Harlan County has the talent to upset someone once postseason play begins.

7. Williamsburg (9-15, 7-9)

The Lady Yellow Jackets snapped a six-game skid and picked up wins over both Jackson County, and Knox Central before falling to Harlan County and South Laurel.

8. Barbourville (8-15, 8-11)

How about those Tigers?

Barbourville had a three-game win streak by defeating the likes of Middlesboro, Knox Central, and Pineville before dropping three games in Saturday’s Bobcat Classic.

9. Knox Central (12-7, 11-6)

The Lady Panthers fell to No. 9 after suffering a surprising loss to Barbourville last week. Knox Central got back on track in Saturday’s Bobcat Classic. 

10. Pineville (9-13, 9-7)

This is a team I just can’t figure out. They’ve got a lot of talent on the roster. They defeated Harlan before falling to Barbourville this past week.
