In case if you’re having a Kentucky hangover like me, lets talk about some good high school football action. Hopefully, this past Friday your favorite team won, if not it’s a new week.
Let’s talk about our fan vote. Facebook and Twitter have been nearly perfect on their picks, which is much better than my picks. How nice would it be if we couldn’t do our pick’ems until Friday night? That way I can do some copying.
Facebook went 8-4 for Week 7, which might be Facebook’s worst week yet, but still no too bad. In defense of the Facebook votes, we had many games that were really tough to call this week. The game receiving the most votes for Week 7 was the North Laurel/Southwestern game with 162 votes.
Twitter finished the Week 7 at 9-3. The South Laurel/Pulaski County game led the way on votes with 24.
Out of 70 games. Twitter picked 59 right, and Facebook picked 55.
If you missed the Knox Central at Bourbon County game, you may want to watch a replay if possible. This game was one for the record books. Folks, Corbin is a scary team, if I saw them in an alley then I am turning the other way and running. North Laurel lost a tough one, and Bell County handles Rockcastle County in a big district matchup.
