Bell County improved to 6-1 after recording a 44-14 road district win over Garrard County on Friday.
The Bobcats forced three turnovers and outgained the Lions, 342-282, in total offense.
Dudley Hilton’s squad led 22-0 at the end of the first quarter and 38-7 at halftime before wrapping up the win in the second half.
Blake Burnett threw for 125 yards and three touchdowns while completing 6-of-9 pass attempts. Daniel Thomas led the way with 98 rushing yards and a touchdown while also catching three passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.
Dawson Woolum finished with seven carries for 77 yards and a score while also having a catch for 31 yards and a touchdown. He also returned a kickoff for a score. George Pace had two catches for 37 yards and a touchdown.
Bell County will be back in action Friday at home against Class 5A power Pulaski County.
