Corbin grabs another first place honor; Lynn Camp’s Abby Mabe shines, places second with a time of 21:04.16

Tyler Harris’ Corbin Lady Redhounds finished their final regular season cross country event in style by placing first overall with 37 points while placing three runners in the top 10.

Lynn Camp’s Abby Mabe continued her impressive season, finishing second overall (21:04:26) while Corbin’s Mary Jackson finished fifth (22:19.61).

Whitley County’s Sophy Jones placed seventh overall with a time of 22:46.63 while Corbin’s Alex  Herron (22.35.53) and teammate Maddie Russell (23:56.77) finished in the top 10.

Harlan seventh-grader  placed 10th with a time of 23:29.44 while Emaly Powers turned in a time of 24:24:22.87 to lead the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Also leading their teams were Makynna King (Jackson County, 24:49.37), Sophia Good (Bell County, 15:15.16), Kaylee Mills (Knox Central, 26:15.87), Rachel Davidson (Clay County, 26:34.16), and Oneida Baptist’s Grace Sukpland (29:46.16).

The Lady Wildcats placed third overall with 85 points while Harlan finished fourth with 97 points.

Williamsburg turned in a fifth-place finish with 101 points while Jackson County turned in a seventh place effort with 149 points.
