The Corbin Redhound cross country team capped off another impressive regular season meet by winning the Cave Lake Falls Classic with 60 points, edging out second place finisher Bluegrass United Home School by two points.
Seven 13th Region schools competed for the team championship with the full standings listed below:

Corbin (Koby Perkins, 4th, 17:59.67 and John Hail, 5th, 18:02.88) and Whitley County (Danny Ellis, 9th, 18:36.84, and Connor Partin, 10th, 18:39.20) placed two runners apiece in the top 10 while Bell County’s Nicholas Stewart finished eighth (18:25.02).
Williamsburg’s Alex Coleman finished 11th with a time of 18:39.59 while Jackson County’s Keiton Anderson finished 17th with a time of 19:04.84.
South Laurel was led by Jacob Tapscott (25th, 19:25.40) while Landon Howard (39th, 20:11.21) led Clay County.
Knox Central seventh grader Trevor Smith finished 55th with a time of 21:10.40 while Lynn Camp’s Jaden Stewart followed in 56th place (21:21.82).
Ashton Mills led Barbourville with a 68th place finish (21:56.63) while Harlan’s Brayden Howard placed 71st with a time of 22:01.82. Seth Goossen led Oneida Baptist with a 98th place effort (25:38.92).
