South Laurel’s Will Stanko brought home the Class 3A, Region 7 individual title after placing first with a time of 16:59.87 while North Laurel placed third overall on Saturday.
The Jaguars totaled 87 points, which ranked behind winner Madison Central (31 points), and runner-up West Jessamine (63).
North Laurel was led by Josh Hoskins’ 11th place effort (18:36.02) while Stanko led the Cardinals, who placed fifth overall with 113 points.
Whitley County finished fourth with 110 points while being led by Danny Ellis’ ninth place finish (18:30.37).
