North Laurel’s Taylor Allen turned in a third place finish with a time of 19:47.15 during Saturday’s Class 3A, Region 7 Girls’ Meet while helping the Lady Jaguar cross country team to a second place effort.
North Laurel had five runners finish in the top 20, collecting 65 overall points while Madison Central won the team championship with 26 points.
South Laurel placed sixth overall with 137 points while being led by Rose Stanko’s 21st place effort (23:14.82).
Whitley County placed seventh with 182 points and was led by Sophy Jones (18th, 22:51.36).
