Redhound cross country captures another regional crown; Bell County’s Caden Miracle wins individual regional title 

Corbin continued its dominance by winning another Class 2A, Region 5 championship on Saturday.

The Redhounds finished with 61 points while placing two runners in the top 10, and all of their runners in the top 25.

Bell County’s Caden Miracle captured top honors in the individual race, winning the region title with a time of 16:19.94. Miracle’s Bobcats placed third with 87 points.

John Hail led Corbin with a seventh place finish (17:48.48) while Kaleb Terrell finished in ninth place (17:58.70).

Harlan County, who was led by Andrew Yeary’s fifth place finish (17:40.62), turned in a fourth place effort with 100 points while Knox Central (placed 11th with 303 points) was led by Trevor Smith’s 50th place effort (21:16.23).

Landon Howard led Clay County with a 33rd place finish (20:03.90).
