The reigning 13th Region champion North Laurel Jaguars look to be even stronger this season with former 13th Region Tournament MVP and Knox Central Panther Gavin Chadwell enrolling Monday morning.
The Jaguars, led by the trio of UK commit Reed Sheppard, Ryan Davidson and Brody Brock, enter the season favorites to repeat as regional champions along with being a contender for the state championship.
North Laurel will have even more depth now with Chadwell, who won the 13th Region Tournament MVP two years ago while guiding Knox Central to its third consecutive regional title.
Chadwell and the Panthers advanced to last season’s 13th Region title game but fell to North Laurel.
