Vanessa Ross’ Corbin Lady Redhounds moved one step closer to winning their sixth consecutive 13th Region championship by defeating Harlan County in three sets on Tuesday.
Corbin (20-10) wasted little time putting the Lady Black Bears (11-12) away, winning the first set, 25-17. The Lady Redhounds won the second set, 25-14 before rolling to an easy, 25-10, win in the third set.
Corbin will now face the winner of Knox Central and Jackson County in semifinal action at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
