WEEK 11 PICK’EMS: Can Redhounds remain undefeated? Who wins between Pineville & Middlesboro  

With 10 weeks of high school pick’ems out of the way, we are getting closer each day to the playoffs
We posted an 8-2 record last week, and now our overall mark stands at 80-17.
That’s getting 82.4 percent correct for those that are checking.
Can we finish strong? 
We hope so.

Friday, October 28
Pineville (7-2) at Middlesboro (7-2)
The Mountain Lions are struggling, and the Yellow Jackets are hitting stride.

Who wins? Middlesboro, 42-20.

North Laurel (5-4) at Wayne County (6-3)
The Jaguars hit the road and need some momentum heading into the playoffs. We will say this, winning at Wayne County isn’t easy.

Who wins? Wayne County gets the ‘W’, 28-20.

Bell County (7-2) at Harlan County (4-5)
This game is always a war. Look for the Bobcats to come out on top. 

Who wins? Bell County gets the road win, 42-21

Knox Central (5-4) at Breathitt County (6-2)
The Panthers are another team that is hoping to build momentum heading into the playoffs. This is a winnable game but it’s also hard to win at Breathitt.

Who wins? Knox Central hangs tough before falling in a shootout, 49-38.

Danville (4-5) at Whitley County (2-7)
The Colonels are at home and could very well pull off the surprise.

Who wins? We are taking the Admirals, 28-21.

Jackson County (0-9) at Trimble County (3-6)
The Generals are looking to snap their 14-game losing skid.

Who wins? Trimble County comes away with the 42-6 victory.

Clay County (6-3) at Garrard County (3-6)
The Tigers are on a roll, and will face off against a Golden Lions team that is as well.

Who wins? We’re going with the Tigers in this one. Their offense has been rolling along with quarterback Tate Rice. 

Harlan (7-2) at Leslie County (4-5)
The Green Dragons could cap off an impressive regular season if they can get the road win in Hyden.

Who wins? It’s gonna be a tough one but we believe Harlan can slow down Leslie County just enough to get the win. Green Dragons with the win, 28-26.

Campbell County (4-5) at Corbin (9-0)
The Redhounds search for protection continues.

Who wins? Look for Corbin to go 10-0. Redhounds roll, 42-14.

Lynn Camp (2-7) at McCreary Central (2-7)
The Wildcats looking to end regular season play with win No. 3.

Who wins? Look for the Raiders to win at home, 42-12.

Perry Central (5-4) at Williamsburg (6-2)
The Yellow Jackets are peaking at the right time.

Who wins? Williamsburg gets the win, 42-28.
