Corbin’s girls’ cross country team finished 10th overall for only the second time in more than 20 years in Friday’s Class 2A State Meet in Paris while Harlan County’s Peyton Lunsford turned in 11th place effort with a time of 20:06.96.
The Lady Redhounds finished with 270 points while Harlan County finished 16th with 439 points. Bell County placed 22nd with 549 points.
Hadley Elmore led Corbin with a 31st place effort (21:14.47) while Bell County’s Milka Woodring finished 83rd (22:52.44).
