WOOLUM FINDS PAYDIRT: Bell County moves on to regional finals behind Dawson Woolum’s 143-yard, five-touchdown effort 

Dawson Woolum came out and dominated running the ball during Bell County’s 47-6 rout of Fleming County on Friday.
Woolum ran for 143 yards and scored five touchdowns as the Bobcats advantages to the Class 3A regional finals.
Bell County dominates form the get-go, totaling 333 yards on the ground as Daniel Thomas finished with 131 rushing yards and one touchdown.
The Bobcats outgained the Panthers in total yardage, 385-83. Bell County totaled 19 first downs compared to Fleming County’s six. 
Woolum managed to get Bell County on the scoreboard first, breaking free for a 22-yard touchdown run to give the Bobcats a 6-0 lead at the 8:57 mark of the first quarter. 
Woolum added another rushing touchdown, a one-yarder, with 1:36 left in the first quarter, giving Bell County a 12-0 lead.
The Bobcats continued dominating the Panthers with their ground game as a three-yard touchdown run by Ethan Raby increased his team’s advantage to 18-0 with 8:43 to go in the second quarter. 
Daniel Thomas got in the scoring action, becoming the third Bobcat player to record a rushing touchdown after finding paydirt with a 27-yard run. Woolum added the two-point conversion, giving Bell County a commanding 26-0 advantage with 3:21 left in the first half.
The Bobcats were dominant in the first half, outgaining Fleming County, 241-11, in total yardage while picking up 13 first downs compared to the Panthers’ two.
Woolum added three more touchdown runs in the second half (4, 26, and 51) to give Bell County a 47-0 advantage with 48 seconds left in the e third quarter before Fleming County finally scored with 7:08 left in the fourth quarter, making the score, 47-6.
