Season Summary

Allen Harris’ first year as the Mountain Lions’ head coach was a successful one. Pineville won its first seven games and finished with the program’s fourth consecutive winning season (Randy Frazier —2019, 2020; Jason Chappell – 2021, and Harris, 2022).

It’s the longest streak since the Mountain Lions strung together six winning seasons from 1984-1989 (Tim Saylor — 1984, ‘85, ‘86, ‘87, ‘88; Neal Pucciarello — 1989).

Pineville dominated Paris during its win streak, defeating the Greyhounds, 50-19.

The Mountain Lions lost their final three regular season games with two of those losses coming against district foes Williamsburg (42-0), and Harlan (42-20).

Pineville grabbed the No. 3 seed in its respective district and lost to Hazard, 34-6, during first round action of the Class A playoffs.
