Season Summary

Williamsburg turned in another stellar season under coach Jerry Herron. The Yellow Jackets have had a winning season seven years in a row while capturing their seventh straight district title this past season.

Herron’s squad started the season with three straight wins before falling to Somerset (38-18), and Sayre (35-21).

Williamsburg finished its regular season-play with four straight wins before receiving a bye in first round action of the Class A playoffs.

The Yellow Jackets’ season came to an end during second round action of the playoffs, losing to Hazard, 29-0.

Herron now has 131 wins as Williamsburg’s head coach, moving even closer to former coach Bob Rose’s program record 143 wins.
