PAYBACK: Joe Burrow passes for 355 yards, and four TDs during Cincinnati’s win over Steelers

It’s a re-occurring theme for the Cincinnati Bengals.

A new week means they’re in must-win mode again.

And, for the second game in a row, they’ve answered the challenge.

It wasn’t pretty but at this stage of the NFL season, a win is a win, as the Bengals secured a 37-30 road victory against AFC North rival Pittsburgh.

The game was a back and forth affair until midway through the third quarter when Cincinnati (6-4) took a 27-23 lead, and never trailed again.

Joe Burrow completed 24-of-39 pass attempts for 355 yards and four touchdowns. He also threw two interceptions as well but the Bengals overcame those and the loss of Joe Mixon early in the game to a concussion.

Samaje Perine stepped up, and turned in a career game, rushing for 30 yards on 11 carries while catching four passes for 52 yards, and three touchdowns.

Trenton Irwin also had a big game for Cincinnati, finishing with three catches for 42 yards, and a touchdown reception.

With Ja’Marr Chase inactive due to an injury, Tee Higgins led the way with nine catches for 148 yards.

Trey Hendrickson led the Bengals with two sacks while Cincinnati outgained the Steelers in total offense, 408-351.
