OFF AND RUNNING: Lynn Camp’s Engle scored game-high 36 points during Wildcats’ 76-42 win over Somerset Christian

Micah Engle poured in a game-high 36 points to lead Lynn Camp past Somerset Christian with a 76-42 win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats (1-0) dominated from the beginning tip as Nick Sanders scored 12 points while Tate Mills and Ethan Burd each added eight points apiece.

Engle got the hot-hand early on, scoring 11 points in the first quarter to give Lynn Camp a 19-12 advantage entering the second quarter.

He continued to lead the way in the second quarter, adding eight more points as the Wildcats’ lead grew to 37-18.

Engle hit two 3-pointers and scored 11 points in the third quarter as Lynn Camp took a 57-35 advantage into the fourth quarter. Engle finished the game with five 3-pointers while the Wildcats hit nine long range treys in the win.
