Jackson County recorded its second win in as many days, knocking off Leslie County with an impressive 69-48 decision.
Jude Lakes and Tydus Summers each led the way with 17 points apiece while Jameson Marcum added a 10-point scoring effort.
The Generals took control of matchup in the first quarter, racing out to a 22-9 lead while never looking back.
Summers hit two 3-pointers in the first quarter while scoring eight points. Lakes also added eight points while Andrew Gabbard scored four points.
Jackson County’s lead grew to 42-23 at halftime as Marcum hit two 3-pointers while scoring six points during the second frame. Summers continued with the hot hand, scoring nine points.
Lakes’ nine-point scoring effort paced the Generals in the third quarter while Carter Cunagin, and Ashton Clemons each scored two points apiece as Jackson County led, 55-35 entering the fourth quarter.
Korey Vickers scored five points in the fourth quarter as the Generals wrapped up the win by outscoring the Eagles, 14-13.
