ON A ROLL: Wilder pours in 21 points as four players score in double figures during Bell County’s 78-54 win over Adair County

Make it three in a row for David Teague’s Bell County Lady Bobcats.

Bell County improved to 3-0 after going in the road for the second consecutive day to pick up a 78-54 victory over Adair County.

Gracie Jo Wilder turned in a 21-point scoring effort while Maya Ausmus 17 points. Lauren McGeorge scored 14 points while Mikayla Gambrel finished in double digits with 12 points. Kairi Lamb added eight points while Kylee agreed scored four points.

“We played very well early and did some good things defensively,” Bell County coach David Teague said. “I thought we’d shot the ball well throughout the first half. Second half I think we got a little relaxed and lost focused. Good first week to begin 3-0 and I think my team is doing a lot of good things. We have to keep working and focusing on things that we help us as we move forward.”

The game was never in doubt Saturday with the Lady Bobcats building leads of 27-12, and 51-21 at halftime.

Bell County will be back in action next Saturday at Knox Central in a 13th Region battle.
