Sheppard becomes second player in North Laurel history to reach 3,000 career points plateau

North Laurel senior, and University of Kentucky signee Reed Sheppard, notched his 3,000th career point as a Jaguar on Saturday during his team’s game against Manual in the Legacy Nissan Classic.

He joins Peyton Broughton (3,141 points) as the only two Jaguars to have reached the 3,000-point plateau.

He’s also getting closer to breaking former Corbin Redhound Andrew Taylor’s 13th Region record of 3,628 points.
