RUN & GUN: Williamsburg tallies 93 points during season-opening win over Jackson County 

Six players scored in double figures during Williamsburg’s 93-74 road win over Jackson County during Saturday’s PRTC Classic.

The Yellow Jackets’ Jerrod Roark led the way with 25 points, scoring 20 of those in the second half. Connor Lay followed with 17 points while Henry Bowling, and Conner Saylor each scored 12 points apiece. Andrew Smith added 11 points while Ryder Adkins finished with 10 points.

Jackson County’s Jude Lakes led all scorers with 29 points in the loss while Tydus Summers followed with 13 points, and Cunagin finished with 12 points.

Williamsburg led 22-19 at the end of the first quarter, and 45-33 at halftime. The Yellow Jackets advantage grew to 70-54 entering the fourth quarter before they outscored the Generals, 23-20.
