Pineville’s Nadine Johnson collected a triple-double during the Lady Mountain Lion’s 74-27 win over Buckhorn on Saturday.
Johnson scored 24 points while grabbing 10 rebounds and finishing with 13 steals. Abby Jackson turned in an impressive 16-point scoring effort while Ava Arnett finished with 13 points.
Pineville led from the get-go, grabbing a 16-8 lead at the end of the first quarter while pushing its advantage to 37-21 at halftime.
The Lady Mountain Lions turned up their defensive play by a notch and it showed as Pineville sealed the win after outscoring Buckhorn, 37-6, in the final two quarters.
