Williamsburg’s Allie Wilson and Maddi Hopkins both had dominant efforts on the hardwood on Saturday.
Wilson poured in a game-high 32 points while Hopkins followed with a 22-point scoring effort during the Lady Yellow Jackets’ 62-23 win on Saturday against Burgin.
Williamsburg only led 11-5 at the end of the first quarter but managed to build a 33-14 advantage at halftime. Wilson scored nine points in the second quarter while Hopkins added eight points, and Lorelei Coleman scored all five of her points during the second frame.
The Lady Yellow Jackets continued to dominate in the second half.
Williamsburg limited Burgin to nine points during the game’s final 24 minutes.
