OBI was short-handed, without three starters, during its 99-75 loss to Buckhorn on Saturday but still hung tough throughout the game.
Canaan Tyree set a PRTC Classic record, scoring 50 points in the loss as the Mountaineers fell to 1-1 on the season.
“Point guard Canaan Tyree tried everything he could with us playing short-handed,” Oneida Baptist coach Mitchell Madden said. He turned in a stellar performance putting up 50 points setting a PRTC Classic scoring record.”
