Woolum scores 25 points during Bell County’s loss to Rockcastle County

Bell County dropped its season-opener but not without putting up a fight first.

The Bobcats dropped a 69-62 decision to Rockcastle County during Saturday’s Ted Cook Classic despite receiving a 25-point scoring effort from Dawson Woolum.

Blake Burnett added 17 points in the loss while Cameron Hall finished with eight points.

Bell County fell behind 19-13 at the end of the first quarter, and 36-26 at halftime.

The Bobcats trailed 55-38 entering the fourth quarter before rallying to outscore the Rockets, 24-14, during the game’s final eight minutes.
