Ashton Reynolds turned in a 29-point scoring effort to lead Whitley County to an 81-61 win over Campbell County, Tenn.
Reynolds, who shot 10-of-15 from the floor while grabbing a team-best seven rebounds, finished with two 3-pointers while scoring a combined 21 points during the second and third quarters.
Jackson Petrey added 11 points while Brayden Mahan had 10 points, and six rebounds.
The Colonels hit 28-of-55 shot attempts, including a 6-of-16 effort from 3-point range. They were also 19-of-27 from the charity stripe.
Whitley County trailed 17-15 after the first quarter before taking a 37-33 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Reynolds scored 11 points in the third quarter S the Colonels used a 23-16 run to take a 60-49 lead into the fourth quarter.
Whitley County wrapped up the win by outscoring Campbell County, 21-12, during the game’s final eight minutes.
