Harlan received a much-needed win, snapping a two-game skid as Aymanni Wynn fished out 28 points to lead the Lady Green Dragons to an easy 68-31 victory over Middlesboro.
The win improved Harlan to 2-3 overall, and 1-0 against 52nd District competition.
Teammate Emma Owens joined Wynn in double figures, finishing with 21 points while Addison Jackson, and Peighton Jones each scored five points apiece.
Both Owens, and Eynn each hit three 3-pointers apiece.
Middlesboro’s Keevie Betts turned in an 18-point scoring effort for the Lady Yellow Jackets while teammate Morgan Martin finished with five points.
The loss dropped Middlesboro to 0-5 overall, and 0-1 vs. 52nd District opponents.
Harlan will be back in action Tuesday against Estill County while participating in the Says School-Jim Lankster Classic. The Lady Yellow Jackets will travel to play Lynn Camp Monday.
