Harlan matched it’s highest point total of the season on Friday, defeating 52nd District foe Middlesboro, 81-44 to remain perfect at 7-0.
The Green Dragons continue to hit on all cylinders, as a 16-13 first-quarter lead turned into a 43-21 halftime advantage.
Harlan followed its 27-8 run in the second quarter by outscoring the Yellow Jackets, 38-23, during the second half.
Kyler McLendon hit four 3-pointers, and scored a game-high 22 points in the win while Will Austin had 19 points, Trenton Cole followed with 12 points, and Jaedyn Gist had 10 points. Kaleb McLendon added nine points while Dylan Cox finished with four points, and Connor Daniels (three points), and Matthew Pennington (two points) followed.
Jerimah Beck led Middlesboro with 15 points while Trey King added eight points.
