Bell County’s struggles continued during first round action of Tuesday’s Legacy Nissan Dribble Drive Challenge Sponsored by Martin’s Peterbilt & City of London Tourism by falling to Owen County, 72-65.
Dawson Woolum poured in a 37-point scoring effort for the Bobcats (1-5), but it wasn’t enough as Bell County struggled containing the Rebels’ Teagan Moore, and Brad Word.
Moore scored 36 points while Word finished with 17 points.
Woolum’s 37 points led all scorers as Blake Burnett finished with 15 points while Ethan Buell added six points for the Bobcats.
