Lady Generals remain unbeaten in Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic, defeat Russell County, 61-39

Jackson County remained unbeaten in the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic, and advanced to the championship game of their bracket by defeating Russell County on Wednesday, 61-39.
The Lady Generals (7-1) will face-off against the winner of Casey County, and Nashville Christian.

Kenady Ward led the way for Jackson County with 21 points. She scored 15 of those in the second half while Abby Gilbert followed with a 15-point scoring effort. Jenna Creech added nine points while Adycin Truett chipped in seven points. Maddie Curry finished with six points while Madi Marcum scored three points.
