Second half offensive struggles lead to Pineville’s 59-54 loss to Floyd Central

A nine-point halftime lead over Floyd Central during Tuesday’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic turned into a heartbreaking, 59-54, loss for Elgie Green’s Pineville Lady Mountain Lions.
Pineville (7-3) scored 25 points in the first quarter but could only muster 29 points the remainder of the game. 
The Lady Mountain Lions held a 39-30 halftime lead before being outscored, 29-15, in the second half.
Nadine Johnson led the way once again for Pineville, finishing with 24 points, six rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Abby Jackson had 11 points, and four steals while Ava Arnett finished with nine points, three rebounds, and one steal. 
Rachel Howard had seven points, 10 rebounds, and two steals while Kamryn Biliter finished with one point, three rebounds, and one steal.
