Oneida Baptist didn’t come up with a win over Leslie County during the Hyden Citizens Bank Classic, but the Mountaineers did manage to hold their own before falling, 68-48.
Canaan Tyre hit 4-of-6 shot attempts from 3-point range while scoring a game-high 27 points while pulling down three rebounds in the loss. Skyler Roberts finished with seven points while Daniel Etokwudo had seven points, and 10 rebounds.
The Mountaineers (3-6) will be back in action next week. They’ll participate in Estill County’s Rail Road Classic.
