Pineville continues to impress, this time by defeating visiting John Hardin during Tuesday’s Chain Rock Classic.
The Lady Mountain Lions improved to 9-3 after slipping past the Lady Bulldogs, 66-62.
Player of the Game Nadine Johnson scored 25 points with 13 of those coming in the first quarter. Abby Jackson scored 14 points, Ava Arnett added 11 points, Rachel Howard had nine points while Malley Smith totaled seven points.
Pineville led 18-14 after the first quarter, and 37-26 at halftime. The Lady Mountain Lions saw their lead cut to 46-44 entering the fourth quarter before Arnett scored seven points while Jackson added six points to allow Pineville to secure the four-point win.
