Bell County’s struggles carried over into Wednesday’s matchup with Newport, as the Bobcats dropped a 69-50 decision during their second pool play game of the Grace Health Cumberland Falls Invitational.
Bell County (3-7) never got on track offensively, scoring only 20 points in the first half while getting outscored, 37-30, in the second half.
Dawson Woolum led Bell County with 22 points while Blake Burnett added 10 points.
