PUTTING ON A SHOW: Harlan nails 17 3-pointers during 96-77 rout of Bath County

Harlan hit a season-best 17 3-pointers en route to a season best 96 points during the Green Dragons’ 96-77 win over Bath County in the Dan Swartz Classic.

Led by Player of the Game’s Kaleb McLendon’s 26-point scoring effort, Harlan (11-2) built a 58-40 halftime advantage and never looked back.

McLendon hit 10-of-14 shot attempts, including going 6-of-9 from 3-point range. He also had seven assists, four rebounds, one block, and one steal.

Teammate Trenton Cole was red-hot from the floor, scoring 21 points while hitting 7-of-8 shot attempts from 3-point range. He finished with four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Kyler McLendon turned in a 7-of-15 shooting effort while scoring 18 points. He finished with seven assists, one rebound, one steal, and one assist. Jaedyn Gist followed with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting while leading the team with 10 assists, six rebounds, one steal, and one block. Dylan Cox added six points.

Harlan finished the game shooting 37-of-64 from the floor, which included a 17-of-34 shooting effort from 3-point range. The Green Dragons finished with 30 assists, and only nine turnovers while totaling six steals, and five blocked shots.
