Last season, Pineville managed only eight wins, the Lady Mountain Lions have shown a lot of improvement, and already have 10 wins after beating Middlesboro, 53-25, during Friday’s Chain Rock Classic.
Nadine Johnson scored 18 points on a 9-of-18 shooting effort while Abby Jackson had 10 points. Malley Smith followed with nine points while Ava Arnett, and Rachel Howard each finished with seven points apiece.
Keevi Betts led Middlesboro (1-9) with eight points while Addison Larew scored seven points.
