Knox Central snapped a two-game losing skid while advancing to the finals of the Kentucky Class 2A, Section 7 finals with an easy 62-32 win over McCreary Central.
Sophomore Halle Collins led the way with 29 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block. Teammate Timberly Frederick scored 13 points while hitting four 3-pointers. McKenzie Hensley followed with seven points.
Knox Central (10-2) will now face off against Bell County in Friday’s Kentucky Class 2A, Section 7 title game.
The two teams met on December 10 with the Lady Panthers cruising to an easy, 69-49, win.
