Ella Karst, and Jaylin Smith combined to score 44 points as Harlan County snapped a two-game losing skid with a 76-60 win over Hazard on Thursday.
Karst dishes out a game-high 24 points while hitting five 3-pointers, and Smith finished with 20 points, hitting 10-of-11 shot attempts from the free-throw line.
The win improved the Lady Black Bears to 11-4 with games against Lynn Camp, and Middlesboro coming up in the next week.
The game was close throughout with Harlan County trailing, 35-34, at halftime.
But a 27-13 run by the Lady Black Bears in the third quarter allowed them to regain a commanding, 61-47, advantage entering the fourth quarter.
Harlan County hit five 3-pointers during the third quarter as Smith tossed in nine points while Taytum Griffin scored seven of her 12 points.
