Greg Parrett’s Jackson County Generals stunned Pineville during Monday’s 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic Tournament semifinals while punching a ticket into Tuesday’s championship game.
The Generals fought back from a 16-7 deficit in the first quarter before pulling off an impressive, 47-45, win.
Jackson County trailed throughout the contest but never quit.
Parrett’s squad trailed 31-29 at halftime, and 37-34 entering the fourth quarter before outscoring the Mountain Lions, 13-8, in the final eight minutes to secure the victory.
Jude Lakes scored five of his 12 points during the fourth quarter while Andrew Gabbard added four of his seven points during the period.
Tydus Summers scored all nine of his points in the first half while Carter Cunagin, and Keagan Ward each scored 10 points apiece.
Sawyer Thompson led Pineville with 21 points while Ashton Moser finished with 11 points.
