Barbourville captured its third win of the season, defeating Middlesboro, 66-50, on Tuesday.
The win improved the Lady Tigers to 3-7 while the Lady Yellow Jackets fell to 2-11.
Sarah Smith led Barbourville with 17 points while Marleigh Martin added 13 points. Lauren Smith finished with 13 points while Layla Brock, and Danni Jordan each scored six points apiece.
The Lady Tigers built a 15-9 lead in the first quarter and a 35-23 cushion at halftime. Barbourville’s advantage grew to 51-36 at the end of the third quarter before the Lady Tigers secured the win in the fourth quarter.
Keevi Betts continues her impressive play, scoring 28 points while Morgan Martin added 10 points.
