Jackson County got back to its winning ways on Monday after a six-day layoff.
The Generals improved to 13-6 after handing Oneida Baptist an 87-51 loss.
Greg Parrett’s squad used a 27-7 run in the second quarter to take control of the game as Tydus Summers led Jackson County with 20 points, and six 3-pointers. Carter Cunagin added 16 points while Jude Lakes finished with 15 points. Keagan Ward scored 14 points while Braxton Clemons finished with six points.
The Generals led 18-13 after the first quarter, and 45-20, at halftime before outscoring the Mountaineers, 32-31, in the second half.
The 36-point loss dropped Oneida Baptist to 6–10 overall. Canaan Tyre led the Mountaineers with 24 points while Daniel Etokwudo added 12 points.
