THIRD TIME IS A CHARM: Halle Collins comes up huge, scores 33 points, pulls down 20 rebounds during Knox Central’s 62-58 win over Bell County

Knox Central’s Halle Collins was a player on a mission during Friday’s road matchup with Bell County. 

Collins scored a game-high 33 points while pulling down 20 rebounds, and finishing with three assists, and three steals, during the Lady Panthers’ 62-58 win over the Lady Bobcats.

Collins took charge from the get-go, six points in the first quarter while following with 11 points, six points, and 10 points in the second, third, and fourth quarters, respectively.

She finished the game with 11 field goals while going a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line.

It marked the second time Knox Central (12-4) has beaten Bell County (15-5) this season. 

The Lady Panthers led 15-12 after the first quarter, and 29-23 at halftime. The Lady Bobcats cut their deficit to 39-35 entering the fourth quarter.

Timberly Frederick scored 15 points for Knox Central while hitting three 3-pointers. Jaylynn Fain added nine points.

Gracie Jo Wilder led Bell County with 19 points while Mataya Ausmus scored 17 points, and Lauren McGeorge finished with 12 points. Kairi Lamb added nine points for the Lady Bobcats.
