Bell County coach David Teague received a balanced scoring attack during his Lady Bobcats’ 62-26 win over 52nd District foe Middlesboro.
The 36-point victory marked Bell County’s ninth over the Lady Yellow Jackets, and 30th during the past 32 times the two teams have played each other.
Teague’s squad improved to 16-6 overall, and 4-0 against 52nd District opposition while Middlesboro fell to 3-15, and 0-6.
Bell County built a 38-6 lead in the first half, and never looked back, outscoring Middlesboro, 24-20, in the second half.
Gracie Jo Wilder led the way with 13 points while Lauren McGeorge, and Kairi Lamb each scored 10 points apiece. Mataya Ausmus finished with seven points.
Keevi Betts led Middlesboro with 18 points while Morgan Martin added six points.
