Bell County wrapped up the 52nd District’s top seed after an easy 57-14 win over Middlesboro on Friday.
The Lady Bobcats (18-7 overall, 6-0 vs. 52nd District opponents) also captured their 10th win in a row over the Lady Yellow Jackets (3-17, 0-7) while winning 31 out of the last 33 matchups against their rivals.
Bell County took control of the contest early, taking a 14-3 advantage in the first quarter before building a 31-5 advantage at halftime. By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, the Lady Bobcats’ lead grew to 49-9.
Lauren McGeorge led Bell County with 14 points while Gracie Jo Wilder finished with 12 points, and Kairi Lamb added 10 points. Mataya Ausmus turned in an eight-point scoring effort.
Keevi Betts led Middlesboro with eight points.
