Brad Sizemore’s Bell County Bobcats are rolling.
They’ve now won a season-best four in a row after defeating struggling Clay County, 67-62, on Monday.
The win improved the Bobcats to 12-14 while the Tigers fell under the .500 mark for the season at 11-12.
Bell County’s Dawson Woolum and Blake Burnett dominated, combining to score 51 points during the win.
Woolum turned in a 28-point scoring effort while Burnett finished with 21 points. Ethan Buell also scored in double figures for the Bobcats with 10 points.
“It was a great team win,” Sizemore said. “I’m really happy for our kids. We played really hard for four quarters, did a great job battling on the boards and had several guys step up and make huge plays down the stretch.
“Any time you can get a win over Clay County, it’s big for your team,” he added. “I like the direction our team is heading down the stretch, hopefully we are peaking at the right time.”
Grayson Hooker led Clay County with 15 points while Hayden Harris added 13 points. Aiden Wagers also scored in double figures, finishing with 12 points.
