The Harlan Green Dragons reached the 100-point plateau for the third time this season during their 107-83 win over Knox Central.
Kaleb McLendon turned in a huge night from the floor, hitting nine 3-pointers while scoring a game-high 35 points.
He started the game red-hot, scoring nine points in the first quarter while connecting on two 3-pointers.
After going scoreless in the second quarter, McLendon made up for lost time by nailing six 3-pointers while scoring 20 of the Green Dragons’35 points in the third quarter.
Harlan (23-5) held a 46-39 lead at halftime but thanks to McLendon’s offensive explosion in the third quarter, the Green Dragons led, 81-60, with eight minutes remaining.
Harlan finished the game with 23 3-pointers (ranks fourth all-time in the state; Jackson City holds the record with 41) as Trenton Cole hit six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points while Will Austin added 15 points, and Dylan Cox hit three 3-pointers, and scored 12 points.
Brayden Mills led Knox Central (4-22) with 24 points while Jacob Smith added 20 points, and Austin Bargo finished with 18 points. Trevor Jordan also scored in double figures with 12 points.
