Knox Central continues to hit stride with a week remaining in regular season play after defeating Letcher Central at home on Saturday, 61-51,
The Lady Panthers received another stellar effort from sophomore Halle Collins, who kept her perfect double-double streak going at 23 straight games after recording 25 points, and 18 rebounds.
Timberly Fredrick hit two 3-pointers, and scored 10 points while Jaylynn Fain added eight points while Kelsie Smith added seven points.
Knox Central (18-5) led 13-10 at the end of the first quarter, and 25-20 at halftime. The Lady Panthers’ lead grew to 41-31 at the end of the third quarter.
